I would give them a call to see if they can make the accomidations you desire. Its a nice place, with a roomy dining area. They may have something traditional to offer on birthday. Not sure about asian b day practices may be interesting ....have fun
Yes they use it
Yes
Han Dynasty is the best. The service is quick and friendly and the Dan Dan Noodles are nothing short of magic in a bowl.
MoreOur server was very friendly and attentive. Dumplings in chili oil and Dan dan noodles were delicious! Great experience all around.
MoreGreat chinese food in University city. Have been there several times. Really love their dan dan noodles and braised pork shoulders. The people are really nice and friendly. Definitely coming back again.
MoreThe food is cooked EXCELLENTLY. If you're looking for absolutely delicious food this is the place. It's a real restaurant. The things you are used to on the take out menu are not here. Don't let that deter you. The people chops are divine. So were the other things we ate!
MoreGreat Chinese cuisine. Loved it😘. It is a busy restaurant, All the dishes were super delicious and good quantity for the price. The waiter was also super cool. All together I loved the place, no complaints. Will update the details after trying some other dishes next time... byeðŸ˜
MoreThe food here is great! The dry pot and double cooked style was delicious. The best part is all of their dishes can be changed with a different variety of meats. We may have gotten pork this time, but we easily could have requested duck, chicken, or shrimp!
MoreA very nice yummy Chinese food you can get here. The double cooked fish is one I order here every time which is really tasty and spicy.
MoreHan Dynasty blew my mind. The dumplings in chili oil were insanely good and the portions were quite large. Definitely miles above your average takeout Chinese food.
MoreTried this place out for the first time and was easily impressed. Dry pepper style wings were amazing. Scallion Style beef was okay, and house rice noodles were just average. Got 2 drinks, ice tea and punch, were both fantastic. Will visit again.
MoreThey are fast! And the food comes out sizzling. I don't know what to say, I love it here. The spicy scale on the menu is not as hot as it's labeled so if you want your food to be face meltingly hot, you'll have to tell them.
MoreWe really like to get take out from this place. We are particularly fond of i think its called double cooked pork its dry fried with really good seasoning and very crispy. They are usually very fast too.
MoreGood place, simple menu to choose from and priced right. This is my second Han Dynasty location I’ve visited. My coworkers usually takes me to Han Dynasty location near Exton, PA for lunch. However, the University City location is a much more upscale place compare to the one in Exton. Albeit, their food and taste are identical and the quality of food is similar across both locations. I love the modern and contemporary decor of the University City location more, fits the neighborhood perfectly.
MoreI'm fond of every Han Dynasty location, this one is not going to be different. They do what they do well: somewhat authentic, slightly spicy Chinese cuisine. It's mostly all tasty. Garlic or dry rub plus your choice of protein are good options. Cumin option is overloaded with cumin; I mean cumin is good, but this is way, way too much. Crunchy cucumbers are definitely recommended. Note that if you like spice, like really like the heat, you're not going to get that here. I've asked for 'authentically' spicy, 'as hot as you can make it' spicy, 'make me cry spicy', and never get more than a bit of bite. If you don't like spice, don't be afraid to try any Han Dynasty location. There's nothing to be afraid of.
MoreLove that they give you tea when you sit down and the food was great. Good family size portions.
MoreI liked the dumplings with chili oil. Didn5 really like the noodles in the braised beef. There was not a wow factor but in general it was good.
